On the past 20th and 21st September, the partnership of Silver Age Silver Sage Initiative – Working On project – (SASSI – Working On) – gathered together for the Kick-Off meeting in Loughborough, UK. During two eventful days, the participants defined the working plan for future months, analysed the initial project objectives and discussed the best strategies to ensure the best possible results.
The SASSI – Working On project adds on to SASSI (http://www.sassi-project.eu/) and addresses the issue of labour resources, especially “the working on” challenge by developing, adapting, testing and implementing innovative practices that enable and encourage older workers and job seekers to re-access and/or remain in the labour market. The partnership aims to achieve such goals by extending and enhancing access to appropriate, age-sensitive careers advice, guidance, learning, skill updating and work experience opportunities for older workers and job seekers (+50) in both Continuing Vocational Education and Training (C-VET) and work-based contexts.
The project counts with 7 partners from 6 different countries, namely: Apricot Training Management (UK); Bupnet Bildung und Projekt Netzwerk (DE); Die Berater (AT); Centrum vzdelávania neziskových organizácií (SK); INOVA+ (PT); Trendhuis (BE); BLINC (DE).
