INOVA+ was represented in Birmingham (England), in October 11th and 12th, at the 3rd transnational meeting of the CLAIM YOUR FUTURE project.
In addition of discussing the next steps, this meeting was particularly important to mark the start the project’s second year. During the upcoming twelve months, eight young Portuguese students (from vocational and university education) will be part of the next generation of change.
The topics discussed include project’s 1st year results and implementation as well as deadlines for the future activities. This exercise has enabled the project to be strengthen, with all partners prepared to guide their students towards leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Just to remind that Claim Your Future aims to put students in the lead, seeking a positive social impact in their region through the inspiration and empowerment provided by a European sharing and exchanging experience. In this way, students become a generation of change, that is, models to be followed by their peers, stimulated by the development of new skills such as personal leadership and the entrepreneurial mindset, sensitive to social inclusion.
With the support of the ERASMUS + Program of the European Union, Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Good Practices, the Claim Your Future project started in September 2017 and will last for3 years. INOVA+ joins the consortium of six European partners, including professional schools, applied science universities and non-profit organizations from Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuania and The Netherlands.
