CoraPatents is a research project that brings together JRC Capital Management (coord.), Intracom Group, Privé Technologies, INOVA+ and Matrix Investment, with the aim of building and establishing the patent valuation methodology as accepted company assessment standard in the financial industry.
The ultimate goal is to support: innovative companies, including SMEs and Startups, which have patents to use as collateral, to increase their overall company rating and reduce their credit interest rates; banks to reduce their credit risk; investment companies to develop new innovative products; and Venture Capital companies to identify and verify outstanding deals.
In November 2018, the project completes its first year, with good progresses in its work plan. INOVA+ is responsible, among other tasks, for planning, implementing and managing the dissemination strategy of the project. In the second year, CoraPatents consortium will publish and disseminate various articles/ papers, press releases and one video describing the activities and results of the project.
