The first year of the KAAT project has passed and the consortium has successfully developed the first two main results: the Report on occupational analysis in air transport industry and the Report on qualifications analysis in air transport industry, which can be found here: http://www.kaat.upb.ro/results/
The partnership is now focusing on the Master “IT applied in aviation” accreditation within the different partner countries. At the same time, the consortium is starting to develop the Methodology for SQF and recognition of prior learning and work experience in aviation.
The Knowledge Alliance in Air Transport (KAAT) aims to identify and validate current occupations and competencies in the aeronautics sector and align them with the sector needs for the next 10 years. Moreover, KAAT intends to map the education programs’ learning outcomes in terms of competences, knowledge and skills and bring them into line with airport labour market demand.
