INOVA + and the Municipality of Oliveira de Azeméis organized a session, on June the 4th, at the Ferreira de Castro Municipal Library (in Oliveira de Azeméis) to present the YEIP toolkit.
The toolkit addresses professionals, working with young people, and policymakers, and is focused on preventing the radicalization of violent behaviour among young people and was developed based on the results of an exhaustive research and data collection process including various youth-led activities.
These free access resources are available on the project website, in a specific tab (available here) and are grouped into theoretical content, audio-visual materials, self-reflection activities and other external resources. You can consult this content and leave your feedback by filling out a brief form (available here).
The YEIP project was created in response to the urgent need to develop effective policies to improve the social inclusion of young people and to minimize the risk of marginalization and radicalization. This initiative, co-founded by the ERASMUS + Programme of the European Commission, aims to develop and test a model and different resources based on positive, participatory or youth-led approaches, focused on talents and strengths.
