INOVA+ participates on the LEARN&FLY challenge


    The final of the Learn & Fly project competition took place on 20th September in Poland, during Podkarpacki Festiwal Nauki.

    Students from Portugal, Poland and Spain met in Rzeszów to took part in the main activity of the Learn & Fly project, which INOVA + is a partner. The competition, that initially took place at national level in the three partner countries, ended with a first-round winners meeting in an international challenge.

    The goal of the contest was to build a plane from simple elements and then test its flight. Awards for the winners were awarded by Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów Communications Director Andrzej Czarnecki.

    • First place for the Polish team;
    • Second place for the Portuguese team;
    • Third place for the Spanish team.

    The Learn&Fly project is a strategic partnership that addresses underachievement in basic skills related to STEM topics using innovative and engaging teaching methods related to Aeronautics.

    The project also aims to support schools, especially teachers, in tackling early school leaving, by providing information and materials about career opportunities in aeronautics, as well as different education/training paths available in the field.
