Throughout the November month, the S+T+ARTS program is organizing online events on the topic of: “Arts and Technology as catalyst of innovation”.
The sessions start on November 18th with the return of WeSTART in a session that will present the work developed by seven STARTS Regional Centers. The best practices of each region will be shared, as exhibitions, conferences and workshops held. Registration for the session must be done here.
On November 19th and 20th, in an online session, Israel will host the TRANSMEET festival – arts and sciences festival that seeks to stimulate synergies between scientists, artists, and curators. In this context, on November 19th, the artists Pei Ying Lin, Michelle Malghaes and João Martinho Moura will join Kristina Maurer (Ars Electronica, S + T + ARTS) to share their experiences in the “S+T+ARTS session Practices: Collaboration as Catalyst ”.
But the initiatives do not stop there. On the November 26th, the French partner Grande Provence organizes a day dedicated to exploring transdisciplinary innovation with presentations, panel discussions and performances; and on November 28th, BOZAR LAB organizes a webinar under the topic “Arts & Tech: Can companies innovate together with the arts?”. You can check the program here.
Beyond webinars, the STARTS program also has numerous opportunities available. The calls can be consulted here.
STARTS (Science, Technology & the Arts) is an initiative of the European Commission, launched under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
