INOVA+ led an international consortium in a study implementation whose objective was to analyse the way investigation and innovation activities are integrated regionally.
INOVA+ led an international consortium whose objective was to analyse the way investigation and innovation activities, funded within the themes of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Materials, New Manufacturing Technologies (NMT) and Industrial Biotechnology (B) from the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), are integrated at regional level, connected to networks and local and regional clusters, and to what extent those activities had an impact regionally.
The final report from the study includes conclusions concerning the mapping and regression analysis, network analysis, as well as it also presents case studies from seven regions (Cologne – Germany, Central Hungary, Walloon Brabant – Belgium, Southern Sweden, Basque Country – Spain, Lodz – Poland and Bucharest-Ilfov – Romania).
The results of the study were policy recommendations destined to European and regional policy makers, namely in what concerns activities to be implemented within H2020 or future FP9 programme.
