Detection of the evolution of brain tumors

    The University of Heidelberg, Medical Faculty of Mannheim has the INOVA+ support, as a service provider, in the implementation of the POPE-PseudO-Progression Entscheidungsunterstüzung project.

    INOVA + is supporting the image recognition area and software development for the detection of the evolution of brain tumors (Gliobastoma).

    The POPE project aims to improve methods for the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors considered to be one of the most common and aggressive types of brain tumors by developing an application that will automatically distinguish the progression or pseudo-progression (inflammation) of gliobalastoma by preventing and reducing the risk of surgery.
