ENFIELD project with open applications to support research in Artificial Intelligence
The ENFIELD project launched the first call for its Exchange Program, aimed at researchers in the field of Adaptive, Green, Human-Centric, and Trustworthy AI. Applications are open until March 31, and each selected candidate will receive up to 14 thousand euros.
This is the first of a total of four rounds of Exchange Calls, to which the ENFIELD project allocated 1.1 million euros to support up to 76 individual researchers and their respective proposals. The selected researchers will be awarded a grant of €2,400 per month, for a maximum period of 6 months.
ENFIELD aims, in this way, to contribute to the creation of a European Center of Excellence that stands out in fundamental research into the scientific pillars of reliable, adaptive, human-centered and sustainable artificial intelligence (AI), with application in sectors such as healthcare, energy, industry and space.
The main objective of the project will be to strengthen the European Union’s competitive position in the field of AI and have a significant socio-economic impact for the benefit of European companies and citizens. To do this, it aims to bring together the best talents, technologies and resources from the main players in research and industry in Europe.
